The Index MS52C multi-spindle machine follows this principle. It has 12 tool carriers, each of which can be loaded with two tools thanks to CNC control. In contrast to conventional multi-spindle lathes with a rigid arrangement of six longitudinal and cross slides each, this means that with the Index MS 52 C you can always optimally adapt the machining to the requirements of your workpieces.
